The Miss Bristol, Miss Forestville, Miss Bristol’s Outstanding Teen and Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen 2015 pageant is looking for contestants interested in earning scholarship money, have a passion for giving back to the community and helping others, and would like to improve their self-confidence, public speaking and interview skills?
Have you ever wondered what a pageant or being a part of the Miss America local might be like? Do you have a talent?
The Miss Bristol~Forestville Scholarship Pageant, a local affiliate to both Miss Connecticut and the Miss America Scholarship Programs has announced it is looking for contestants for its upcoming pageant to be held Jan. 3.
Miss Bristol 2015 is an open pageant, which means that it is open to young women ages 17 to 24, and no older than 24 years of age on Dec. 31, 2015, who lives, works, or goes to school in the state of Connecticut. Miss Bristol 2015 will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and will go on to compete for the title of Miss Connecticut 2015 on June 27, 2015.
Miss Forestville 2015 is a “closed” pageant, which means it is open to young women ages 17 to 24, and no older than 24 on Dec. 31, 2015, who lives, works, goes to school or worships in Bristol or has a parent that lives, works, goes to school, or worships in Bristol. Miss Forestville 2015 will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and will go on to compete for the title of Miss Connecticut 2015 on June 27, 2015.
Miss Bristol’s and Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen 2015 is open to young women ages 13 to 16 who lives, works, or goes to school in the state of Connecticut. Miss Bristol’s and Miss Forestville’s Outstanding Teen 2015 will go on to compete for the title of Miss Connecticut’s Outstanding Teen 2015 on June 27, 2015.
For contestants and interested applicants, especially for those who may have wondered what a scholarship pageant really is like, there will be an informational meeting Sunday, Nov. 30 at 1 p.m. at Nutmeg Performing Arts Centre 154 Church St., Bristol.
