The mayor’s Facebook page reported the following report of a water main break.
“There is a water main break on Gayle Drive. Crews are on site and will need to shut water off at to make the necessary repairs in the next few hours. Water customers on Gayle Drive and the surrounding area may be affected.
“The repairs may take 6 to 8 hours to complete. Crews will remain on site until service has been restored to all customers. Once service has been restored, customers may experience discolored water. If you experience discolored water, please run a cold water faucet until the discoloration clears.
“The Bristol Water Department appreciates your patience during this unforeseen emergency”
