Bristol police are investigating a shooting that took place in the West End area early Friday morning.
According to a news release, officers were dispatched after receiving reports of a 33-year-old male who was shot during an alteration in the street at the corner of Divinity St. and Landry St. The victim, whose name has not been released yet, then sought assistance at the nearby West End Café, where employees called 911, the release said.
The man had multiple gunshots wounds and was transported to the hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition, according to the release.
Meanwhile, there is no suspect description at this time.
