The Bristol Parks and Recreation Department with the help of the Bristol Fish and Game Club is holding the 64th annual Perry J. Spinelli Fishing Derby Saturday, April 25 from 7 to 10 a.m. at Page Pond. Children should bring their own fishing poles and legal bait. There will be a variety of prizes awarded for fish caught throughout the morning.
The Fishing Derby is for children 13 years of age and under. Parents may assist children in casting, but the child should land their own fish. Children should check in at the Page Pavilion starting at 6:30 a.m. to receive a permit.
Coffee and hot chocolate will be available for $1.
