The Department of Transportation will be holding an informational public meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 4, to discuss intersection improvements on Route 69 (Burlington Avenue) at Maple Avenue and Peacedale Street.
The project will involve minor roadway widening, sidewalk replacement and related improvements to provide turning lanes at each leg of the intersection.
There will be an open forum for individual discussions with DOT officials at 7 p.m. on Dec. 4 at council chambers at Bristol City Hall, and a formal presentation to be held at 7:30 p.m. There will be a snow date of Monday, Dec. 9.
Residents, commuters, business owners, and other interested individuals are encouraged
to take advantage of this opportunity to learn of and discuss the proposed work.
