For the family with an affinity for dinosaurs, there are five locations on the Connecticut Dinosaur Trail, a historic collaboration that brings together five of the state’s pre-eminent tourist attractions: Connecticut Science Center, Dinosaur State Park, The Dinosaur Place at Nature’s Art Village, Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History. and new this year – Lake Compounce Family Theme and Water Park.
Lake Compounce joins the existing attractions with its brand new Dino Expedition, which offers guests of all ages the opportunity to encounter moving and breathing lifelike animatronic dinosaurs and explore their history with a walk through prehistoric paths. The attraction also features an open-air fossil dig area for younger guests.

The recognition was one of only five awards given, and recognized the CT Dino Trail for its collaboration and success working together to promote its diverse blend of offerings in innovative ways to drive visitors to its unique attractions.
