Lectures:
“Managing Your Money As You Age.” Financial Representatives Keith Weston and Julia Weston of Thrivent Financial will share basic financial strategies and important considerations for retirees and seniors on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10:30 a.m.
“Naturopathic Medicine.” Dr Ken Kirk from the Southington Car Center will discuss how naturopathic medicine aims to use gentle, non-toxic treatment approaches to address the root causes of disease. Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m.
Coin Collecting Program. Blair Soucy from the Litchfield County Coin Club will be discussing the state of the hobby today and will be on hand to view any coins that people want opinions on. The program will run on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 10 a.m.
Computer Room Open House. See what technology the Bristol Senior Center has and what new classes we are running out this fall on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m.
The Bristol Senior Center presents a fun filled afternoon with the music stylings of “Squeaky Clean.” On Friday, Sept. 25 at 2 pm at the Senior Center, there will be music with free admission with a donation of a non-perishable food item. Tickets are available in the Senior Center office as seating is limited.
Informational Health Fair. The Bristol Senior Center is hosting its second annual Informational Health Fair on Thursday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be over 30 vendors from many different health related areas, lectures, and health screenings.
Meet the Candidates: The Friends of the Bristol Senior Center is hosting a Meet the Candidates event where many of the local politicians will be available to discuss their platform, answer questions, and talk in a setting. This event will be on Monday, Oct. 5 at 1:30 p.m. in the Bristol Senior Center Dining Room.
