Bristol police have made an arrest warrant for a man connected with last Saturday’s shooting in the intersection of Summer Street and Center Street.
According to a press release from the Bristol Police Department, an arrest warrant was obtained for Raquan Murrelle, whose whereabouts are currently unknown. The firearm used in the incident also has not been recovered, the release said. The following chargeds are listed on the warrant: first degree assault, first degree reckless endangerment, carrying a firearm without a permit and unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Last Saturday, Bristol officers found Travis Hapgood walking in the area of Center Street near Summer Street, and had what appeared to be a small caliber gunshot wound in the area of his right hip, the release said. He was then transported to St. Francis Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
