As a reminder, the last week for spring leaf bag collection is the week of April 25. Place leaf bags at the curb when full for collection.
Yard waste (green barrel) collection is underway for paid subscribers and will continue weekly through Nov. 12. You can put only grass, leaves, woodchips and small twigs in the green barrel. No sod, rocks, sand or flower pots.
If you are a subscriber, please ensure that your 2016 paid sticker is on the barrel. Information is available on line at www.bristolct.gov/yardwaste.
For spring cleaning:
Bulk pick up collections (items too large for the rubbish barrel) are available by appointment to residents who have city rubbish/recycle collection. One free collection is available per calendar year per address. Additional collections are available for $25. each.
