Obituaries: Regis Ephrem Michaud

Regis Ephrem Michaud, 59, of Bristol, husband of Pamela Jean (Labbe) Michaud, passed away on Tuesday (August 23, 2016) at Bristol Hospital.  Regis was born in Notre Dames de Lourdes, New Brunswick, Canada on June 18, 1957 and was a son of the late Severien and Martha (Desjardins) Michaud.  Regis was a longtime Bristol resident and was a certified HVAC Technician for 34 years.  He was a United States Army Veteran and was stationed in Germany.  Regis enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.  Besides his wife of 35 years, Regis is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Jennifer Lynn and Edward Dionne; a son and daughter-in-law: Michael Regis and Alexis Michaud; six grandchildren: Mathieu, Kyler, Kaylee, Rayna, Paige and Bentley; his ten siblings: Hedwidge and Paul Beckerman, of AZ, Desanges LeFrancois, of Bristol, Rinette and Laurie Blanchard, of St. John, Canada, Gaspard and Cecile Michaud, of Bristol, Suzanne Michaud, of Manchester, Nicolas and Linda Michaud, of Bristol, Benoit and Wanda Michaud, of FL, Carmella Blaise, of AZ, Stolan Michaud, of Alberta, Canada and Alain and Tammy Michaud, of Waterbury and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by a sister: Florence and a brother: Rino Michaud.  Funeral services for Regis are private and at the convenience of the family.  There are no calling hours and the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, is in care of the arrangements.  The family would like to send their love and thanks to Pastor Duane, as he was a great support to the Michaud family and to Sophie with Bristol Hospital Hospice and to the ICU Staff at Bristol Hospital.  Please visit Regis’ memorial website at www.FUNKFUNERALHOME.com
