Bristol police are investigation a shooting that happened on School Street Sunday evening at around 9 p.m., that involved three men. As of Monday morning, police were searching for two “light-skinned black males,” a press release said, who are said to be in their late teens, to early 20’s. The men were described in the release as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, medium build and both wearing black t-shirts. They were also said to have left the scene in a dark colored vehicle.
When police responded to the area of 169 School St., they found a victim, 25-year-old Tajaree Walker Sr., with a non-life threatening gunshot wound after a reported altercation took place in the alley adjacent to Stat’s Convenience Store, the release said. He was shot in the “upper thigh/buttocks area,” the release said, and was transported to Bristol Hospital for treatment.
During this altercation, the man who was shot was attempting to intervene in the altercation, the release said.
