On Thursday, Oct. 2, Life Scout Evan Foley from Troop 21, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Bristol, helped Mayor Ken Cockayne cut the ribbon to signify the opening of a brand new Bocce court at the Bristol Senior Center. The Bocce court was constructed by Evan Foley and Boy Scouts from Troop 21 as his Eagle Scout project. After the ribbon cutting, several games were played and refreshments were served. Bocce will be played at the Bristol Senior Center on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. weather permitting.
