Bristol police investigate home invasion

Bristol police are investigating a reported home invasion that happened Saturday night around midnight at an apartment at 750 Farmington Ave.
A press release said several men entered the apartment and robbed one of the occupants inside. The victim, the release said, was struck several times with a “blunt type” object, while one of the residents locked himself in the bathroom and called police.
The victim, a 24-year-old male, was brought to Bristol Hospital to be treated for his injuries and sustained lacerations and a broken arm.
The release said when the suspects entered the apartment they demanded money, and once they had obtained and undetermined amount of cash they fled the scene.
